Tideglass

A small puzzle of water & time

Carry the light home.

Eight small crossings. A visible tide clock. One moment you can hold.

Move with the arrow keys, W A S D, or the on-screen buttons. Each move or wait turns the tide. Reach the harbor while your square is still wet. Undo is unlimited.

Your first crossing stays in deep water: sail east three times to learn the clock. There is no timer.

Progress stays in this open page only. Reloading, closing, restarting or changing charts resets the crossing. No account or cloud save.

How to read the water

The six beats repeat: 0 → 1 → 2 → 2 → 1 → 0. Deep water is always passable. A square marked 1 needs water level 1 or higher; a 2 needs level 2. Stone cannot be crossed.

A move enters a square at the current water level. The clock then advances. If the water leaves your square, you run aground. Waiting advances the clock without moving. Arm your tideglass to keep the current beat for one move or wait; it has one charge.

Grounding is reversible. Undo as often as you like, or restart. Hints search from your current position. Keyboard shortcuts work on the chart and page; focused buttons and menus keep their usual keys.

Six beats. One held moment. Find your way home.
